In December 2024, RXO, a high-tech freight transportation broker, revealed plans to expand its operations at its Charlotte headquarters. The company is investing $13.7 million, adding 216 new jobs. (Charlotte NC)

3. Red Ventures Plans Significant Expansion in Mecklenburg County

In April 2025, Red Ventures, a rapidly growing technology and marketing company, announced its intention to expand operations in Mecklenburg County. The expansion plan includes creating 580 new jobs over the next five years and investing more than $2 million at its Charlotte location. (Red Ventures)
