June at Rise48 Equity offered a window into the people, partnerships, and communities that define how we operate. Our Rise48 Communities team continued their commitment to resident experience, hosting monthly gatherings across the portfolio—from seasonal celebrations to summer pool parties—creating the kind of environment where neighbors genuinely know one another. This consistent investment in community life is one of the things that sets Rise48 apart, and we’re grateful for the on-site teams who bring that vision to life every month.
On the vendor side, we highlighted one of our most trusted renovation partners: Dino’s Painting. Dino and his team have been with us since our early days in Arizona, and as Rise48 expanded into Dallas and North Carolina, they expanded right alongside us. At the scale we operate, having partners who are invested in quality and take pride in the finished product isn’t just helpful—it’s essential to delivering on our renovation thesis.
June also brought a meaningful farewell. Our Arizona corporate team gathered for a lunch in honor of Jerry Herrmann, Corporate Assistant Controller and one of Rise48’s earliest team members, as he stepped away to launch his own business. Moments like these are a reminder that the culture we’ve built is just as much about the people who’ve helped shape it as it is about the portfolio we continue to grow.
At Rise48, our Communities team is always finding new ways to bring residents together. From Valentine’s Day celebrations and St. Patrick’s Day events to Mother’s Day gatherings and summer pool parties, there’s always something happening across our properties.
These aren’t one-off events. Our on-site teams host at least one resident gathering every month, turning our properties into places where neighbors truly know each other. That commitment to building real community is at the heart of what makes Rise48 different.

Dino G. and his team have been our number one painting partner across our renovation projects in Arizona for years, helping us improve and transform communities throughout the Valley. And when we expanded into Dallas and North Carolina, they expanded right alongside us.
A lot goes into renovating apartment communities at scale, and having partners who care about quality and take pride in the finished product makes all the difference.

Recently, our Arizona team came together for a team lunch, which also served as a tribute to our Corporate Assistant Controller, Jerry Herrmann, on his last day at Rise48 Equity.
Jerry was one of the first ever Rise48 Equity team members hired, and we are incredibly grateful for his dedication to the team throughout the years!
As he moves on to launch his own business and move across the country, we wish him every success ahead and look forward to what he builds next.
