Makena is a finance and accounting intern for Rise48 Equity. Makena’s main responsibilities include accounting for and journalizing bank statements for Rise48’s entities, and overall supporting the Corporate Accounting department. She resides locally in Tempe, Arizona.
Makena has a professional background interning for the ASU-Starbucks Center for the Future of the Planet and the People. During her internship, she supported sustainability efforts within Starbucks’ business practices by conducting Life Cycle Assessments.
Makena is currently pursuing a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Business Law at Arizona State University.
